We are recruiting on behalf of our Client, a global distribution company for Reach & Counterbalance FLT drivers to join their teams (Must hold either 1 or both licenses) , based out of their Distribution Centre in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire to work on a combination role of forklift and machinery operative- HP2 7EQ to work one of the following shifts;
06.00 - 14.00 - Monday to Friday £12.85 per hour 0T after 40 hours £19.27 per hour (Reach D2 or Counterbalance)
14.00 - 22.00 Sunday to Thursday £13.49 per hour, OT after 40 hours £20.23 per hour (Reach Truck D2 license)
22.00 06.00 Sunday to Thursday £14.78 per hour, OT after 40 hours £22.16 per hour (Counterbalance)
FLT Licenses must be either RTITB or ITSSAR accredited,
You will be required to work in the warehouse and this role can be be more than just FLT work, you will be loading and unloading vehicles using a boom attachment and on occasion operating machinery when you are not on the forklift so you will never become bored in this role!
Full training will be given on all equipment
Responsibilities:
Working within in a team, under pressure and handle a fast paced busy environment
Operating cutting machinery (training given)
Operating rolling machinery (training given)
Loading and unloading of vehicles (using FLT truck)
Available to work weekly as per the shift pattern
The successful candidate will need the following;
Current Reach Truck / Counterbalance license essential
Driving license desirable to be able to travel to and from location
Required skills
Loading
Reach flt experience, and had a refresher within the last 3 years. (RTITB or ITSSAR)
Physically fit due to some heavy lifting being required
Excellent command of spoken and written English
