Pertemps are seeking dedicated and hardworking Refuse Loaders to join a local waste management organisation in Hemel Hempstead. As a Refuse Loader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and environmental health of our community by ensuring the efficient collection and disposal of waste and recycling materials.Key Responsibilities:Waste Collection: Work as part of a team to collect refuse and recycling from residential and commercial properties.Loading: Safely load waste and recycling materials into collection vehicles.Sorting: Ensure materials are sorted correctly into the appropriate sections of the vehicle.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Customer Interaction: Provide courteous and professional service to residents and businesses.Reporting: Report any issues or incidents to the supervisor promptly.Requirements:Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and walking long distances.Team Player: Strong ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills for interacting with the public and team members.Flexibility: Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing schedules.Benefits:£11.44 per hour, rising after 12 weeks of workTemp to PermTraining: Full training provided, with opportunities for career development.6:30am - 2:30pm with early finishes available
