We are a high-achieving secondary academy in Hertfordshire, seeking an inspirational Head of Computer Science to lead our department from January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to shape the direction of the Computer Science curriculum and drive the development of digital literacy and programming skills across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the Computer Science department
- Delivering high-quality teaching and learning across KS3-KS5
- Developing and implementing innovative curriculum strategies
- Mentoring and supporting staff within the department
- Ensuring high academic standards and student progress
- Promoting the use of technology and coding skills throughout the school

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching Computer Science at KS3-KS5
