About the role:
- Ability to create and teach engaging psychology lessons that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
- Skilled in developing detailed lesson plans that incorporate both theoretical concepts and practical applications, ensuring a balanced approach to learning.
- Proficient in fostering a passion for psychology through interactive lessons, discussions, and hands-on projects that make psychological concepts relatable and exciting.
- Capable of organizing and maintaining a conducive learning environment, ensuring the classroom is a safe and supportive space for exploration and growth.
- Dedicated to building meaningful relationships with students, providing guidance and encouragement to help them achieve their full academic and personal potential.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have the right to work within the UK
- Have experience working within a classroom
- DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
- Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
- Good subject knowledge of Psychology curriculum
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- A QTS or PGCE or overseas trained teacher to UK equivalent
- Marking and planning are compulsory with this role
