About The Position:

Supply Desk are working closely with a school based in the Hemel Hempstead area that are seeking a full time Higher Learning Teaching Assistant to start from September 2024 and continue for the full academic year with the opportunity to become permanent thereafter. They are looking to appoint an excellent Higher Learning Teaching Assistant that has excellent supportive and coaching skills and a good knowledge of the current National Curriculum. You will encourage positive pupil development and monitor pupil’s progression in line with the class teacher’s expectations and have the ability to build a good rapport with both students and colleagues. You will be responsible for covering lessons in the absence of the teacher and ensuring children make progress in your classes.

Requirements

  • Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
  • Energetic and positive approach to education.
  • Able to commute to Rickmansworth via public transport or by car.
