SRM Recruitment are recruiting for a Stock Controller to join an established retailer based in Hemel Hempstead. With locations across the UK, the stock controller will be a crucial point of contact based at the Head Office for all Store & Area Managers as well as suppliers and the Warehouse team.

Duties:

  • Conduct regular and ad hoc stock checks
  • Investigate stock discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
  • Track and reconcile supplier returns, goods received, and stock movements, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date
  • Analyse stock data, generate reports, and make recommendations to improve stock management processes
  • Handle various administrative tasks and provide support to the team as needed, maintaining clear communication with the warehouse team.

Skills Required:

  • Confident using Microsoft Excel to create reports and analyse large data sets
  • Great communication skills with an ability to work with various teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks as required
