Our client is a global technology company specialising in the Hospitality and Retail industries. They are experiencing significant growth and are seeking an experienced Stock and Inventory Controller to join their team.
Job Summary
I am seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Stock and Inventory Controller to join my client's dynamic team. This key role will be vital in coordinating logistics, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth operations within their global supply chain network. You will be responsible for overseeing the client's inventory, working closely with Sales to manage customer contracts, forecasts, and SLAs.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen interest in supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities:
路Inventory & Forecast Management: Collaborate with Sales and other departments to report, analyse, and manage customer forecasts.
路Data Analysis: Model and analyse inventory data, providing recommendations for managing aged inventory.
路Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key point of contact between the client, manufacturers, and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of customer requirements.
路Order Processing: Oversee purchase orders, sales orders, invoicing, and goods receipt processes.
路Logistics Coordination: Troubleshoot and resolve logistics issues related to deliveries and imports/exports, ensuring smooth operations.
路Master Data Maintenance: Keep Master Data on Sage up to date, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
路Cost Optimisation: Negotiate prices, discounts, and rebates with suppliers, working to improve cost margins.
路Deployment Management: Oversee the logistics and deployment of various solutions for customers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery and installation.
路Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clients are informed of stock availability and delivery schedules.

Essential Skills:
路Proven experience with inventory management software.
路Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret and relay data accurately.
路Highly organised with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
路A self-motivated individual with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
路A proficient user of Excel and MS Office 365
路Strong customer service skills, with both written and verbal communication.

Desirable Skills:
路Familiarity with Sage200.
路Previous experience in IT hardware deployment or IT refresh projects.
路Ability to stay calm under pressure and quickly adjust priorities as needed.
