We are recruiting for a growing regional law firm based near Hemel Hempstead with a salary range of £25000 to £31000.

You would need a year's background as a Paralegal in litigation or employment law where conflict arises, or you would be considered if you were a Legal Assistant who might not want to go on to become a Solicitor.

You will be

  • Supporting fee earners with case management from inception to conclusion
  • Preparing draft correspondence and legal documents
  • Managing new client enquiries and compliance matters
  • Maintaining case files and documentation.
  • Assisting with court bundle preparation and pagination
  • Supporting client meetings and taking attendance notes
  • Conducting legal research under supervision
  • Helping with business development activities

You will have

  • Previous experience in Litigation and/or Employment law.
  • Understanding of legal procedures in general litigation and employment matters
  • Be organised
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of court procedures and deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
