I'm very excited to be exclusively partnering with a trendy, fun, fast growing and market-disrupting company based here in Hemel Hempstead - Helping them with the recruitment of an Operations Manager as part of their growth and development plans for 2025.
The company and team are growing, fast, the Ops Manager would be stepping into this role and immediately have 2 people reporting to them, one in the office and one in the warehouse/production side of the business and in the coming months there is another office-based person we'll be recruiting into your new team.
You'd be joining this company at a very exciting time and part of their journey, so it will be a very broad position where you might find that some days you'd be handling the higher level stuff and on others you're sorting out the insurance policy for the warehouse, you're running stock reports on the ERP or even helping your team in the warehouse with printing labels and getting them on packages.
Given the type of role described above, this role really needs a self-starter, someone that has great initiative, good people/management skills and able to be flexible and work in an ever-changing environment.
Ideally, this role is going to suit someone that wants to be part of something new and exciting, joining people that are very passionate about their products and ambitious for their future plans.
The role itself is based in the centre of Hemel Hempstead and with the nature of the role, you would need to be fully office based, working Monday to Friday and full-time hours.
The position will be paying around £40k to £45k as a starting salary for the right person.
As the Operations Manager you'll be:
- Using IT systems to plan and manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs
- Using information systems to coordinate and control the order cycle
- Evaluating performance and quality to plan improvements
- Allocating resources according to changing needs
- Liaising and coordinating with the management and cross-functional teams
