Job Title: Site Maintenance Engineer
Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 + Benefits
Start Date: Early December 2024
About the Role:
We're recruiting a skilled Site Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Hemel Hempstead. This role is vital to ensure smooth operations, safety, and compliance from the outset. This a Permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues, supporting both preventative and emergency maintenance.
- Manage contractor relationships and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
- Perform racking repairs, electrical testing, and assist with facility upgrades.
Requirements:
- Engineering or Facilities Management qualifications.
- 5+ years' experience in industrial/commercial maintenance.
- Electrical testing certification (e.g., City & Guilds 2391).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and safety systems.
- Proficiency in CMMS and a UK driving license.
- Flexibility for occasional out-of-hours call-outs.
- Must be able to provide examples of complex technical issues that you have managed and resolved
