What could be more enjoyable than marketing holidays?

You work hard for your couple of weeks off and a chance to go somewhere nice to relax, or partake in an activity or two… Only with this opportunity what you’re marketing to people is the opportunity to own the lifestyle, through the marketing of holiday homes to own.

The team you’ll be joining own the CRM calendar, and are responsible for the creation and execution of a CRM strategy. Pulling together campaigns from ideas to content, creative, test and learn as well as optimisation; through to campaign execution. So effectively the project management side of the campaigns themselves.

You’ll be orchestrating a lot of the work, organising what’s needed to get campaigns up and out the door, working with CRM ops teams on journey builds. Data teams on data strategy, segmentation and targeting. Creative and design teams on deciding, testing and refining what’s going into each campaign. So they ultimately achieve each objective. Which could be to nurture a prospect through to conversion. Or provide effective lifecycle management comms to a customer.

This is full-funnel CRM comms. So the campaigns you’ll be working on could cover any part of the customer journey. Including tactical offers and promotions, operational comms and updates to campaigns too.

You’ll be part of a CRM function of around 8 people total, split between CRM ops and CRM strategy and planning. With you being a part of the latter.

Despite being a multi-channel business, the principal channel of customer engagement in CRM is via email. So this is where the bias of your energy will be focused.

The business itself has been around a long time and has a very strong family centric ethos, which also translates to their approach to work/life balance.

The team are currently working through a programme of refreshing their customer journeys and associated CRM triggers and comms following the introduction of a range of new martech to the business. Aiming to improve personalisation, relevancy and effectiveness of their campaigns. Which means you’re likely to get the opportunity to gain experience to CRM strategy projects, as the team collaborates to deliver this implementation.

Experience Necessary

  • Must have a solid background within a consumer CRM environment
  • An understanding CRM comms planning and CRM strategies, including journey planning
  • Project management skills, and the ability to bring all the elements necessary as well as quality control, test and optimise campaigns to ensure they reflect best in class and will deliver on business objectives
  • Knowledge of A/B testing and email journey enhancement/optimisation. With the ability to utilise the data from these to improve CRM strategies
  • A real desire and mindset of ‘how can I make this better’ versus just churning out campaigns to meet deadlines – and not afraid to tear things up and start again if that’s what it takes to improve things.
  • Have a solid understanding of things like dynamic content and personalisation, and how the different martech tools can be utilised in CRM campaigns to deliver bespoke, highly personalised and effective 1-2-1 customer communications

**Able to live and work in the UK unrestricted.**
