Our client is recruiting for a Marketing Assistant to join their team within an exciting, forward-thinking manufacturer! They use cutting edge technology to produce industry leading equipment for their customers.

Marketing Assistant Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create and post content across social media platforms, with the intention of engaging potential customers and drive traffic to the website
• Build a plan of activities across different channels, aligned to the overall marketing strategy
• Gather testimonials and stories for use in marketing, photograph and video customers for inclusion in social media posts
• Keep a record of impressions, engagement and click-throughs to evaluate the effectiveness of posts
• Update landing pages and website copy to ensure as compelling as possible
• Liaise with an external agency on Facebook, Instagram and Google Advertising and provide content ideas, for blogs for Search Engine Optimisation, brand awareness and to generate leads
• Develop and manage a potential email marketing database and create email marketing campaigns
• Trail new channels and creative ideas to drive brand awareness, marketing opportunities to reach potential customers
• Provide marketing support to events such as business shows and events

The Ideal Marketing Assistant Candidate:

• Experience and expertise in running and evaluating multi-channel marketing campaigns direct to consumer
• Excellent level of written English, ability to write in an engaging and customer-friendly way
• Proficiency in creating email campaigns using email marketing software (Desirable)
• Experience working within a commercial, direct to consumer business and/or any related field (Desirable)
• Adobe InDesign (or similar) knowledge for creating digital assets, flyers, etc (Desirable
