The Role:

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team, providing essential support to students in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Hemel Hempstead. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs. Experience in care or education is beneficial but not essential; a positive and empathetic attitude is what truly matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with personal care needs, including dressing, feeding, and hygiene.
  • Assisting with classroom activities to foster engagement and learning.
  • Building positive relationships to provide emotional and social support to students.
  • Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours in a calm and professional manner.
  • Promoting independence by helping students develop life skills.
