This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of industry experience who is looking to develop their career in project engineering.The Graduate Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • A degree or qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, etc.).
  • 1-2 years of industry experience in a relevant engineering role.
  • Exposure to project engineering, design, or manufacturing processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings, materials, and manufacturing methods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office is desirable.
The Graduate Project Engineer role will involve:
  • Assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects.
  • Supporting design, manufacturing, and installation processes.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Preparing technical documentation, reports, and project updates.
  • Identifying and resolving engineering issues that arise during projects.
  • Ensuring projects are completed within budget and to the required specifications.
  • Contributing to process improvements and efficiency gains.
