My client is an established, well-known company withing the hydraulic and pneumatic industry. With over 35 years  trading history they specialise in supplying hydraulic and pneumatic products, systems and services to a wide range of industries. They are looking to add a driven and experienced Hydraulic Engineer to their successful engineering team. Hydraulic Engineer                                                       

Head Office: Hemel Hempstead

£35,000 - £40,000 (DOE) – Van, Pension, mobile, laptop and bonus.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Attend and participate in project starter meetings.
  • Provide onsite client support for service and maintenance work when required.
  • Provide sites with technical support for short- and long-term issues.
  • Ensure all HSE regulations are followed on site.
  • Managing pressure testing and flushing both on site and in workshops.
  • Maintenance and installation of Hydraulic Systems
  • Provide technical support for potential proposals for clients and business development working with various departments within the business.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

  • Full understanding of HSE.
  • Experience working with Hydraulic Systems including power packs, manifolds, pumps, actuators, pipework and valves.
  • A desire to learn.
  • Hydraulic design knowledge of Hydraulic systems is advantageous.
  • Be fully skilled in all aspects of Hydraulic Engineering Systems both on site and within a workshop environment.
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair systems and components.
  • Liaise professionally with clients and colleagues of all levels.
  • Be able to read and fully understand Hydraulic System drawings.
