About the Role:

Compass Associates is looking for a Lead Nurse in Primary Care to work in a very exciting environment.

As a Lead Primary Care Nurse you will be working closely with the team ensuring they provide outstanding levels of patient care throughout the service and support the nursing team to ensure consistency.

As a Nurse Lead, your duties will include:

  • Offering clinical leadership and management to registered nurses and care teams.
  • Acting on behalf of the Deputy or Head of Healthcare when necessary.
  • Collaborating with partners to deliver a strong, high-quality clinical service for patients and ensuring your own clinical practice aligns with autonomous standards.
  • Promoting a culture centered on compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication, and competence.
  • Providing coaching, line management, and professional development for clinical staff.
  • Assisting with audits, governance, and the creation or review of clinical and non-clinical Local Operating Protocols for the site.
  • Leading and facilitating healthcare meetings with team members and partners.
  • Delivering clinical supervision (training will be provided) and conducting local investigations as well as supporting regional efforts.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration.
  • Experience: Strong Managerial skills ideally in acute, primary care or community nursing.
  • British citizenship and UK Driver's license is essential for this role.
