We are seeking candidates for the role of Long term KS1 Teacher at a reputable independent primary school in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. Set in a stunning 300-acre parkland, the school takes pride in its long heritage of integrating modern teaching with traditional values.

Role OverviewAs a KS1 teacher, you will play an important part in creating a supportive and exciting learning environment for young students. You will be responsible for delivering interesting lessons that follow the National Curriculum while encouraging your students' personal, social, and emotional development. Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and teaching: Create and implement lesson plans that address the unique needs of all pupils.
  • Regularly analyse student development and adjust teaching tactics accordingly.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment by using excellent classroom management tactics.
  • Collaborate: Work together with others to improve the educational experience and exchange best practices.
  • Communication with Parents: Consult with parents about their child's progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications
  • A recognised teaching qualification (such as a PGCE or similar).
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in KS1.
  • Solid comprehension of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Qualified Teaching Status
Working Hours

The role requires minimum 24hrs a week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday with the ideal availability of Monday to Friday.
