About the Role:

TimePlan Education is seeking a passionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and welcoming primary school in Hemel Hempstead. This is a full-time role starting at the beginning of December, running for two terms. As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and help ensure a positive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher with day-to-day activities and lesson preparation.
  • Provide support to individual students or small groups to enhance their learning experience.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a safe, respectful learning space.
  • Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to contribute to the overall progress of the class.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Some classroom experience or experience working with young people is desirable.
  • Enthusiastic and committed to supporting students' learning and development.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to a busy school environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
