Our client is a leading manufacturer within multiple sectors supplying to customers globally. This is a brand-new position due to ongoing growth and increased production leading to the need for another Quality Inspector to support the current Quality Team. This role will heavily involve First off inspection, Final inspection, raising FAI reports and helping push improvements to production.

Key Quality Inspector background needed:

  • Experience with both visual and dimensional inspection (callipers, height gauges etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Ability to measure accurately in both metric and imperial units with relevant measuring equipment would be advantageous.
  • Good dexterity and manual skills
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy is required as the training and quality standards are very in depth and specific.

Quality Inspector Position accountabilities

  • Dimensionally and visually inspect product to detailed technical drawings and specifications.
  • Carry out first offs, last offs, patrol inspection, incoming material and final inspection checks.
  • Raising First Article Reports (training can be provided)
  • Quarantine, log and report all non-conforming product without delay.
  • Review and verify certificate of conformities.
  • Accurately complete manufacturing records, ensuring product traceability.
  • Participate in improvement projects.
