Estimator/ Project Manager
£45,000 - £55,000

Hybrid 40% Office Based- Hemel Hempstead
60% on site with the main focus in North London and surrounding areas.
Must have a clean driving license

Are you an experienced Estimator/ Project Manager with a background in either Construction or Mechanical and Engineering looking for a new opportunity where you will be given autonomy and the potential to make a difference? If so this could be for you.

You will be joining a successful business who are the point of an exciting period of growth and development. They work with high end luxury clients where first class customer service is always the main focus, no matter how big or small each project is. You will be responsible for heading up the Repair and Maintenance division for the business, responsible for estimating new projects and producing tenders for competitive opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities for Estimator/ Project Manager
  • Manage onsite sub-contractors and monitor staff performance.
  • Drive the business forward by winning new business and delivering on the high levels of service.
  • Order specialist materials
  • Regular checks on the job to ensure it is running smoothly and on time.
  • Provision of method statements and agreeing material lists with foreman.
  • Manage progress reports for all non-reactive jobs.
  • Deal with any on issues with the client or workforce and report to the Operations Director and Managing Director when necessary.
  • Oversight of growth and development of plumbing and heating division.
  • Other ad hoc duties may be necessary to successfully complete your responsibilities.


Experience
  • Experience as an Estimator/ Project Manager in a Construction/Carpentry or Mechanical and Engineering industry.
  • Be able to grasp technicalities with ease.
  • Have the ability to price a number of projects simultaneously .
  • You must deliver impressive tender documents and method statements with a sense of urgency whilst maintaining high standards.
  • Manage materials and ensure any onsite issues are managed with exceptional communication
  • Have the ability to work collaboratively with the directors and build strong client relationships from the get-go.
  • Have the ability to scope out any new maintenance issues
