Portfolio Procurement is recruiting a Senior Electronics Buyer for a leading distribution company in Hertfordshire.
The role involves optimizing key spending areas and negotiating cost prices and delivery timelines.
Candidates must have experience sourcing electronic components, preferably from a contract manufacturing background.
Experience working with suppliers from Asia and understanding Bills of Materials is required.
Strong computer literacy, particularly in MS Office, is also necessary for the position.

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Hertfordshire based distribution company to recruit for a Senior Electronics Buyer.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to optimise key spending areas, you will be charged with negotiating on both cost price and delivery timeframes.

Requirements:

You must have previous experience within the sourcing of Electronic Components ideally from a contract manufacturing environment.
Experienced in working with suppliers from Asia
Have an understanding of Bills of Materials.
Computer literacy including strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
