An excellent opportunity for a Junior/Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a rapidly expanding commercial construction company working on a variety of interesting projects with great progression opportunities to Quantity Surveyor and beyond.

This multi-disciplinary chartered construction company have had massive success in the industry, doubling their turnover year on year. They cover refurbishment, maintenance and construction projects for public and private sector clients. The business has a dynamic and inclusive culture that encourages support, training, and development across all areas. Due to their growing order book, they are looking to bring a Quantity Surveyor into the business to help support the next phase of growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for estimating a range of commercial and residential projects consisting of refurbishment, maintenance and new build works. You will work in a small commercial team tasked with supporting all commercial activities, with some site travel & hybrid working available once trained. Due to their ambitious expansion plans and a increase in workload, the business is looking to add to their highly skilled team to support the next phase of growth.

The ideal candidate will have a Quantity Surveying background who has some experience working on Commercial or Residential projects, you will have a can-do attitude, enjoy working in a close-knit enviornment, and have a desire to develop & progress.

The Role:

Support cost planning, budget estimating, and monitoring actual costs against budget
Effectively communicate with members of commercial, project, and site based teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Assist other departments as and when required
Office based in Hemel Hempstead, with travel to site

The Person:

Junior/Assistant Quantity Surveyor with experience in Commercial or Residential projects
Self-motivated and looking to progress your career
Full UK Driving License
Commutable distance from Hemel Hempstead
