£60K + Car Allowance – Dartford

About the Role: We are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team based in Dartford. This exciting role offers a competitive salary of £55K, plus a car allowance, and the opportunity to work on high-profile retail and commercial projects. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring budgets, timelines, and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee cost management throughout the lifecycle of retail and commercial projects.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts.
- Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractor relationships.
- Ensure that projects are completed within financial targets and to the highest standards.
- Prepare tender documentation and valuations.
- Provide accurate cost reports to senior management.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on retail or commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred).
- RICS qualification (preferred but not essential).
