We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to join our clients team based in the heart of Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a team environment and has strong knowledge of property management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring compliance, handling maintenance issues, and providing excellent service to landlords and tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring all aspects of property management are handled efficiently.
  • Coordinating repairs and maintenance, liaising with contractors, and ensuring works are completed to a high standard.
  • Conducting regular property inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Handling tenancy renewals, deposit returns, and resolving disputes where necessary.
  • Responding promptly to landlord and tenant queries, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ensuring all properties comply with relevant legislation, including gas safety, EPCs, and licensing requirements.
  • Managing arrears and ensuring rent is collected on time.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating property management systems.

Experience:

  • A good knowledge of property principles and procedures.
  • Block management experience
  • Strong self-motivation to keep improving, learning, and developing.
  • Good soft skills when dealing with people to empathise and understand the customers’ needs.
  • Good knowledge of windows-based applications - i.e., Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
