This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a rapidly expanding contractor who specialises in reactive maintenance works for MOJ sites. You will be joining a forward-thinking business, and leading a division with huge expansion plans for you to play a key part in.

This multi-disciplinary Chartered Construction Group have had massive success in the industry, increasing its turnover year on year. They cover construction, refurbishment, and reactive maintenance projects for public and private sector clients. The business has a dynamic and inclusive culture that encourages support, training, and development across all areas. Due to huge expansion plans in the Reactive Maintenance team, an opportunity for someone to take ownership of the performance and growth of this division is being hired.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing, leading, and coordinating subcontract resources across a series of reactive maintenance jobs. You will also take ownership for further expansion & recruitment for the division and overall operational performance. As well as, maintaining a great relationship with the client to ensure contiunued work.

The ideal candidate will have experience within the construction industry and have worked closely with clients and resource management. Some experience in growing and recruiting teams would be beneficial but not essential.

The Role:

• Oversee the overall operation and performance of the reactive maintenance division
• Build and maintain effective relationships with existing clients, whilst identifying new clients
• Grow the team of subcontractors, including multiskilled operatives, carpenters, plumbers etc
• Report to the MD
• Office based in Hemel Hempstead, hybrid available with frequent site visits

The Person:

• Project Manager with experience in delivering commercial projects (construction, refurbishment, or maintenance)
• Self-motivated and looking to progress your career
• Full UK Driving License
• Either current holder of SC (security clearance) or happy to be put through SC clearance
• Commutable distance from Hemel Hempstead
