Salary: H3 Salary - Actual Salary from 14,735 to 21,808 per annum (Salary dependent on contracted hours)

Contract: Full time - 25 hours per week during Term Time + Inset (however Working patterns are flexible as long as they fit around the student's timetable and the needs of the faculty)

This Ofsted rated Good school is a very popular and very oversubscribed school on a beautiful site in the Boxmoor Village area of the town. They are an expanding school, having been asked by Hertfordshire to increase to 217 students in each year group and over 250 in the Sixth Form, allowing them to recruit new colleagues and increase the broad range of academically rigorous courses they offer.

The Science team are looking for a Science Technician. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, well-motivated and will work well as part of a team to ensure apparatus and chemicals are available and correctly prepared in advance to support the science teachers. They will be responsible for the checking of the reliability of electrical equipment and other apparatus, effecting repairs as necessary. A background in science would be advantageous.

Trains from Hemel Hempstead or Apsley run regularly to Watford (7-11 mins) and London Euston (27-35 mins). Heading north, to Milton Keynes (27-35 mins).
