TimePlan Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher for a temp-to-perm role in Hemel Hempstead. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher to inspire and engage students at Key Stages 3 and 4. The ability to teach a second subject is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging and dynamic English lessons in line with the school's scheme of work.
- Teach Key Stage 3 and 4 English, adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback and monitoring progress.
- Participate in parents' evenings and communicate effectively with parents about student performance.
- Attend additional training sessions and engage in extra-curricular activities to enrich the school experience for students.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Previous experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
- Ability to offer a second subject is highly desirable.
- Must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with a commitment to student success.
