About the role:
- Support student progress: Assess, track, and provide feedback on student performance to ensure they achieve their full potential.
- Classroom management: Create a positive and focused learning environment through effective behaviour management strategies.
- Curriculum innovation: Develop and implement creative teaching methods aligned with the national curriculum to inspire a love for Maths.
- Foster relationships: Build strong, supportive relationships with students to promote confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
- Deliver engaging lessons: Plan and deliver dynamic Maths lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning needs and abilities.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have the right to work within the UK
- Have experience working within a classroom
- DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
- Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
- Good knowledge of the Maths curriculum
- Marking and planning are compulsory with this role
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- A QTS or PGCE or overseas equivalent
