Science Teacher (KS3 & KS4) – Full-Time Position 

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Science Teacher to teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a full-time position, with an immediate start, and is offered on a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across all science specialisms (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Prepare and plan high-quality lessons, ensuring all students have access to an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and support the academic progress of students, providing constructive feedback to help them succeed.
  • Maintain a positive classroom culture that reflects the school's Catholic ethos and values.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and effective department.
  • Engage with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong background in teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
  • Proven ability to teach across the science specialisms with a solid understanding of the national curriculum.
  • A commitment to upholding and supporting the Catholic ethos of the school, ensuring that teaching and daily interactions reflect its values.
