We are actively recruiting for a Teacher of Religious Education who will play a vital role in helping students explore and understand various belief systems, ethical issues, and moral questions. Beyond simply teaching about religions, you will foster critical thinking, empathy, and respect for diverse perspectives. You will guide students in reflecting on their own values and beliefs, while also encouraging an appreciation for cultural and spiritual diversity.

Academics are acting as an agency and working on behalf of an outstanding school in Hemel Hempstead to help recruit a Teacher of Religious Education on a long-term maternity contract working 4 days a week from November 2024 for the rest of the academics year.

The Role - Teacher of Religious education in Hemel Hempstead

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or early careers teacher to join a fantastic department for a long-term maternity cover.

The successful applicant should be confident teaching religious education up to KS5, up to date with UK curriculum and confident in their ability to follow a scheme of work by creating exciting and engaging lesson plans.
