About the Role:

This exciting role allows you to have a meaningful impact on children's education and well-being, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. As an Unqualified Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of children with autism and complex needs.
  • Creating a safe and nurturing learning environment that promotes positive outcomes for all learners.
  • Planning and delivering personalized education and training programs in line with the school's specialist curriculum.
  • Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and external agencies, to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
  • Supporting the social, emotional, and mental health needs of learners by implementing behaviour management strategies.
  • Contributing to the school's wider ethos of providing outstanding specialist education.

About You:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Primary HLTA or within a specialist setting supporting children with autism and complex needs.
  • A genuine passion for education and training, with a focus on making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with learners, colleagues, and parents/carers.
