About the role:
- Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of students.
- Focus on academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers to deliver tailored intervention plans.
- Monitor student progress and adapt support strategies as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help students build confidence and overcome challenges.
- Support classroom activities and assist in creating engaging resources.
The ideal candidate must:
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
- An enhanced DBS or willing to purchase one
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt and tailor support to meet individual learning needs.
- Team player with a collaborative approach to working with teachers and staff.
- Passionate about helping students overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
