About the Role:
Timeplan Education is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in Hemel Hempstead. This rewarding role involves supporting students with SEN which could include ASD, ADHD, Physical Disabilities, Visual Impairments.

You will work with students in a classroom setting, small groups, or on a 1-to-1 basis. Your role will be crucial in helping students access the curriculum and supporting their personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with learning disabilities & physical disabilities, helping them navigate the challenges of everyday school life.
  • Provide tailored support to individuals or small groups, adapting resources to meet diverse needs.
  • Promote an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Support teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
  • Help students with daily tasks, including communication, mobility, and personal care where required.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has some experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Has experience working with young people
  • Is compassionate, patient, and eager to make a difference in students' lives.
  • Holds a DBS on the update service or is willing to obtain one.
