About the Role

This is a full-time position where you will play a pivotal role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure that every child reaches their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored support for pupils with diverse SEN needs.
  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress to teachers and parents.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider school team to develop and implement strategies for individual learning plans.

About You

Experience is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, ideally in a similar setting.
  • A deep understanding of various SEN conditions and effective support strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
