Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be passionate about working with children who have a range of learning, social, and emotional needs. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored lessons and interventions that support the diverse needs of students in a positive and inclusive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students with a variety of SEN, ensuring that each child’s needs are met.
Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track progress against targets.
Work closely with support staff and parents to provide the best outcomes for students.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.
Provide personalised interventions to support students with their academic and social development.
Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other professionals to ensure that students are receiving appropriate support.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with students with special educational needs, either in a mainstream or special school setting.
Knowledge of SEN and relevant teaching strategies.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment and promoting diversity.
Additional qualifications in SEN (e.g., SENCO, Autism Awareness, etc.) are desirable but not essential.
