Grinder

• Hourly Rate: 14.50 p/h
• Location: Hemel Hempstead (Do not apply unless no more than 30mins drive away)

We are looking for a skilled Cylindrical Grinder to join a leading rubber roller manufacturer serving the printing and food manufacturing industries. The successful candidate will be involved in general engineering and workshop duties within a small to medium-sized enterprise, contributing to the production of high-quality rollers.

• Operating grinding machinery and lathes to craft and repair rubber rollers.
• Performing general workshop and engineering operations.
• Working collaboratively with the team to enhance processes and ensure product quality.

• Experience with grinding, milling, and turning machinery.
• Interest and ability to work with various materials such as PVC, Nitrile, Silicone, Fluorocarbon, Polyurethane, Natural rubber, Neoprene, EPDM, or Hypalon.
• Capable of working to tolerance finish to give either a plain or profiled surface.
• Enthusiastic about working in a workshop environment and contributing to a team.
