  • Teach/assess learners working towards vocational qualifications within Construction, within a classroom based environment. 
  • Deliver Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
  • Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
  • Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
Criteria:
  • Must hold solid, occupational experience within the Construction industry.
  • Experience of providing on-the-job training within the workplace to Apprentices/colleagues.
  • Hold - or be willing to work towards - a recognised Teaching or Assessing qualification.
  • Must hold own Level 3 qualification within a Construction related discipline.
  • Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
