- Teach/assess learners working towards vocational qualifications within Construction, within a classroom based environment.
- Deliver Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
- Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
- Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
- Must hold solid, occupational experience within the Construction industry.
- Experience of providing on-the-job training within the workplace to Apprentices/colleagues.
- Hold - or be willing to work towards - a recognised Teaching or Assessing qualification.
- Must hold own Level 3 qualification within a Construction related discipline.
- Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
