Heavy Plant Fitter/Mechanical Fitter

The Role:

In this key position, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and servicing of piling equipment and a fleet of vans, ensuring they remain in top condition to support operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults on diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of heavy plant equipment and vehicles.
  • Ensure all repairs meet safety and performance standards.
  • Use your own basic tools (specialist tools will be provided by the company).
  • Travel locally using the company van provided for business use.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (required).
  • Experience with heavy plant equipment or similar machinery is highly desirable.
