Warehouse

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our clients  dedicated team, supplying duty-free goods to diplomatic missions within the UK and various export locations worldwide. This role is based in Washington, West Sussex, and requires daily travel to our bonded facility in Tilbury, Essex. A driver with their own transport is essential due to the remote location of our warehouse.

• Picking and packing individual orders for export under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager.
• Ensuring meticulous attention to detail to prevent dispatch errors.
• Travelling daily to Tilbury, Essex, in a company vehicle to work on-site.
• Maintaining a tidy and efficient workspace.
• Adhering to standard Health and Safety practices within the warehouse environment.
• Using basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management on Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Working effectively under pressure during peak times, with potential additional hours and occasional overnight stays in Essex to ensure timely dispatch of shipments.

• Experience as a warehouse operative, preferably with knowledge of wines and spirits.
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
• Good level of English and basic computer literacy.
• Full UK driving license held for a minimum of 2 years.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility with working hours and willingness to cover for colleagues during holidays.
