Are you passionate about making a difference in a student’s life? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at their Rhymney provision. This role involves supporting pupils who are outside of education require tailored support in engaging with learning. They may express challenging behaviours, some children have experienced trauma, may be permanently excluded or have additional learning needs such as ASD or mental health.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Understanding Work Set: You will work closely with the student, ensuring they comprehend the tasks assigned by teachers. Whether it’s math problems, reading assignments, or science projects, your guidance will be invaluable. There may be chance that you will need to lead sessions so will need experience in the classroom and delivering work to pupils.

Individualized Assistance: Tailoring your approach to the student’s unique needs, you’ll provide one-on-one support during lessons, helping them grasp concepts and overcome challenges.
