This role is ideal for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs.
This SEND Teaching Assistant Job Role:
- Supporting pupils with additional needs in Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2), Reception, and EYFS.
- Assisting teachers in delivering the National Curriculum tailored to individual needs.
- Encouraging pupil engagement and promoting positive behaviour.
- Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress.
- Providing one-to-one or group support as required.
- Collaborating with colleagues to create an inclusive learning environment.
Required Skills and experience for this SEND Teaching Assistant Role:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
- Experience as a TA in UK schools, particularly Primary Schools.
- A solid understanding of the National Curriculum across KS1, KS2, Reception, and EYFS.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
- Experience supporting children with SEND including Autism, ADHD, complex needs and more.

This SEND Teaching Assistant position is based near Henley-In-Arden, easily commutable from Stratford-upon-Avon, Solihull, Redditch, Warwick, Shirley, and Alcester. The Primary School offers onsite parking and has excellent transport links from surrounding areas.
