Accountant - Sports & Media clients - Hybrid working

Are you an AAT, ACCA, or ACA-qualified Accountant with experience of working in a UK Accountancy or Outsourcing Firm who would like to combine a professional or personal interest in sports or media with your career?

If you have a background As an Accounts or Audit Senior with the skills to work as part of a high-profile business advisory team, this role will allow you to develop and enhance your career in a sector that interests you.

Working as part of the Accounts & Advisory team and closely with the Senior Management team your role as Accounts Senior or Accountant may include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial and management reporting for a diverse portfolio of exciting business and personal clients, from start-ups to limited companies and groups.
  • Supporting the tax team with computations and queries.
  • Advising clients on cash flow, funding, and recommending improvements.
  • Engaging in ad hoc project work and providing business advisory support.

Essential Qualifications and Experience for the Accounts Senior or Accountant role:

  • AAT, ACCA, or ACA qualification.
  • Recent UK-based experience in audit, general accounting practice, or outsourcing.
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and CCH.
  • Understanding of sector-specific statutory and tax requirements.
  • Demonstrated interest and understanding of the sports and media sectors from studies, previous roles, or personal activities.
