What will you be doing?
  • Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
  • Bookkeeping and filing monthly/quarterly VAT returns under various VAT schemes
  • Producing high-quality management accounts
  • Liaising with clients to resolve queries and ensure smooth delivery of work
  • Assisting with training and mentoring junior team members
  • Providing excellent client service and support to Managers with ad-hoc tasks
What do you need?
  • AAT qualified and at least part-qualified ACA/ACCA
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in practice
  • Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
  • Experience with CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Alphatax (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and a drive to succeed
