Our client is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their expanding team in Henley-on-Thames, following an exciting period of growth and transformation within the business. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the CFO, providing essential support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the finance functions across the organization.
Key Duties
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Bookkeeping and managing payroll providers
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Have primary responsibility for all company bankings
- Prepare journals to ensure costs are recognised in the correct accounting period
- Responsible for Fixed Asset register and Depreciation
- Support in the development and production of forecasts, budgets, and financial plans
- Preparing income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents
- Analytical review of the company’s financial performance based on financial records
- Preparation of year end schedules
- Monthly / quarterly / annual sales commissions calculations
- Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Part qualified Accountant
- Experienced with Xero
- Experience in management
- Strong understanding of financial language
- Intermediate to advance knowledge of Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organised with keen eye for detail and accuracy
