As part of their expansion plans, they wish to recruit a tenacious, hardworking and entrepreneurial individual to add to their Business Development team. Job/dutiesThe Business Development Consultant is responsible for generating qualified opportunities which contribute significantly to the overall sales pipeline. This position provides support to marketing and sales, engaging in marketing activities and campaigns in order to build relationships and handling most initial contact with prospective clients to generate and qualify sales opportunities.•Develop an effective pipeline of new projects and customers through the qualification of leads generated from marketing campaigns and outbound prospecting•Manage and coordinate leads through the qualification process through discovery of opportunity and work closely with Account Executives to confirm qualification criteria•Provide market feedback and suggestions to refine positioning and improve strategy•Monitor and maintain account and client information in relevant databases (•Source new contacts using external data sources •Make approaches via telephone, email/InMail nurturing campaigns •Attend sales meetings and local trade shows to maintain up to date knowledge of current market and solutionsTo be considered for this role you MUST:•Be educated to degree level •Have proven business to business success as a Business/Sales Development Representative•Be able to communicate fluently in both English•Understand marketing, sales and business processes•Have strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders•Be an effective time manager with excellent organisational skills and a proactive, goal-oriented mind-set•Possess advanced computer skills•Have exceptional verbal & written communication skillsThis role is UK based and does not pprovide sponsorshipFor more information and to apply for this role, email or apply online.
