Structural Engineer£55k-£70k Henley-On-Thames or LondonAre you passionate about contemporary state of the art buildings design and impacting the space we live in? Do you have an outgoing personality and enjoy developing relationships with the full chain of design to construction team? An exciting opportunity has become available for a senior level Structural Engineering candidate to join a dynamic and progressive structural design consultancy in Henley-on-Thames. You must have several years of working in a buildings design practice, be a strong hands on structural designer, able to lead projects, develop more junior staff, manage existing business and win more. You should enjoy industry, client and social networking. Ideally you will be MICE or MIStructE qualified. This role could be for someone aspiring for a future Directorship in a practice. You could be a senior structural engineer seeking your next step into being more involved in the development and running of a small practice, or someone who is already working at Associate or Associate Director level. The idea is for this 8 strong well established structural design consultancy to develop and grow, and you would be assisting the current Director to help make this happen. There could be an option to set up a London office for the right candidate, as the firm has plenty of London clients already, but you would need to at least spend some of your days in the Henley office, so you would need to live within commuting distance. You would need to be a strong communicator, able to manage and juggle multiple projects at once, mainly in the residential and commercial buildings sectors. This includes new builds, refurbishments and conversions. Projects include state of the art contemporary designs, humanitarian projects and community works. The office is just a short walk from Henley station and the company will offer a competitive salary and benefits package and flexible working.
