THE COMPANY

This long-standing technical production and supply company have been established for over 20 years and continue to provide exceptional services to their broad portfolio of clients. With technical production, structures & staging, projects & install and hire & sales departments inhouse; they offer extensive expertise to the live events and performance industries.

Their 10,000sqft warehouse space offers an incredible base for their team of specialists to deliver a vast portfolio of projects across corporate events, large scale private events and most prominently, festivals, concerts and outdoor events.

They are now in a position to continue building their core team and are on the lookout for an ambitious individual with a technical background. This is a fast-paced working environment with a collaborative and supportive team and with their ongoing growth there has never been a better time to join.

THE ROLE

The Project Manager will play a vital role in the team, overseeing and delivering large-scale technical production projects. They will be responsible for specifying and quoting jobs, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standard.

The role will have a significant focus on driving new business and maintaining key client relationships, while ensuring the smooth execution of events. The Project Manager should have a strong understanding of technical production and staging, although they won't be expected to work on-site for most projects.

This role is also sales-oriented, and the agency are seeking someone with an established network of industry contacts who can contribute to business growth, particularly during the quieter winter months from January to April.

  • Boost revenue through AV equipment hire and sales.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in technical production, event management, or related fields, backed by a strong network of industry contacts, particularly within the corporate / theatre market.

We are seeking someone who can demonstrate a proven ability to generate revenue and manage large-scale projects in the event and AV sectors.

Experience with theatre, festivals, weddings, or large-scale outdoor events is a plus.

The role requires strong organisational and project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously, along with in-depth knowledge of staging, lighting, and AV equipment. Familiarity with hire and sales is preferred. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as the candidate will work collaboratively across teams. A business-focused mindset with a track record of increasing profitability is crucial.
