A successful business in central Henley are seeking a diligent and professional Portfolio Analyst to join their expanding team.

The role:

  • In-depth due diligence on funding opportunities
  • Collating data for and assisting in the preparation of credit papers and other reports
  • Assistance with the creation and ongoing maintenance and analytical review of internal models
  • Completion of documentation once deals are approved
  • Market research and review of economic data for the development of internal models and production of market analysis
  • Ad hoc audit and administration tasks
  • Maintenance of documents and files
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline tasks
  • Building strong and lasting client relationships
  • Visiting new and existing client sites

The right person:

  • Strong experience in data driven analysis
  • Numerate with a problem solving approach
  • Strong credit, financial analysis and modelling skills, including the ability to write good quality, structured credit papers
  • Good understanding of financial risk concepts
  • Legal documentation knowledge is beneficial
  • Ability to work within a team as well as take the lead
  • Focus on delivery with ability to multi task
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with a high tolerance for changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to summarise findings of analysis to non-technical audiences
  • Excellent customer facing skills
  • Prior experience in property/real estate debt industry is preferred
  • Some travel is required so access to your own vehicle is desirable
