Accounts Assistant Manager - Henley, Oxfordshire - £50,000 - £55,000

What will you be doing?
  • Managing a portfolio of clients, reviewing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Reviewing corporation tax computations and VAT returns
  • Overseeing the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
  • Handling client queries, including software-related issues
  • Supporting and training junior team members and managing workflow
  • Delivering excellent client service and assisting Partners with ad-hoc tasks
What do you need?
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with 1-2 years post-qualification experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in practice
  • Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
  • Experience with CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Alphatax (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and provide proactive advice
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently to tight deadlines
